Day 1: |
Arrive at
the Villa Fattoria del Gelso after 4:00 pm Welcome
reception with cocktails and light dinner by the pool Evening
concert featuring Herbie Hancock and the Gerald Clayton Trio at Arena Santa Guiliana You hit
the ground running with this package. Check into the Villa and weÕll whisk
you to one of the highlights of this yearÕs Festival – a concert by
Grammy Award winning artist Herbie Hancock. |

Day 2: |
Morning
guided walking tour of Perugia Jazz lunch
at the Bottega del Vino in Peruguia featuring the Renato Sellani Trio Dinner at
the Villa Fattoria del Gelso Evening
concert featuring Gary Burton Quartet with Pat Metheney at Arena Santa Giuliana YouÕll
spend the morning discovering the beauty and history of Perugia. Then weÕll
stop off at the Bottega del Vino, one of PerugiaÕs gems, for lunch. The
Bottega boasts a great menu of wines by the glass from Umbria and throughout
Italy in an intimate and relaxing setting. And donÕt forget the concert! |

Day 3: |
Half day guided
tour of the Sagrantino wine district Dinner at
a local restaurant A short
drive from the Villa is the Strada del Sagrantino, the Sagrantino wine road
that his home to dozens of vineyards producing UmbriaÕs finest red wine.
WeÕll visit three wineries and taste many more over lunch at a local enoteca
(wine bar). YouÕll cap off this relaxing day with dinner at one of our
favorite local hangouts. |

Pizza
cooking class Jazz
aperitifs and snacks at the Hotel Brufani in Perugia featuring the Allen Harris
Quintet Evening
concert featuring Alicia Keys and K. J. Denhert at Arena Santa Guiliana Spend a
relaxing morning learning how to make pizza from scratch using our wood
burning oven and enjoy your handiwork for lunch. WeÕll have a light dinner at
PerugiaÕs finest hotel, the Brufani, before enjoying the soulful sounds of
Alicia Keys under the stars. |

Day 5: |
Jazz
brunch at Ristorante La Taverna in Perugia Cocktails
and light dinner by the pool Evening
concert featuring the Gil Evans Orchestra at Teatro Morlacchi Relax by
the pool and enjoy the beauty of the Umbrian countryside as we wind down our
tour. Enjoy one last twilight concert in Perugia before we get ready to say
our goodbyes. |
